EVERYBODY'S CRAZY ABOUT THE STONE |

"Fenomeno curling" was the title in the Italian language that appeared in several Italian dailies in the lee of the Turin Olympics of 2006. A new and different sport, out of the ordinary, which despite its being over five centuries old - only moved into the spotlight with a vengeance at the last Games with the successes of a national team consisting largely of athletes coming from Cortina d’Ampezzo, which was the first locality to “import” the sport to Italy.
